Welcome to Total Textures v19 Release 1.0 For optimum viewing we recommend that you copy the entire contents of the DVD to your hard drive.This version contains over 130 individual textures or colour maps, each accompanied by a specular and bump map barring two alpha maps. Many include a “Tiff” file bringing the total to over 440 maps altogether.

Total Textures 19th texture collection is a group of images relating to manmade destruction and includes damage caused by bullets and shells. Most of the textures have been crafted from original photography whilst a handful incorporates some hand painted detail. The effects of fire and vandalism are also covered as well as a section on acid spills. The textures would suit any war torn environments as well as being appropriate to almost any architectural context and include damage to metal, stone and wooden surfaces.

Tutorials
You can view a tutorial on how to use the alpha channel that is part of the “Tiff” files to extract the damaged areas such as bullet and shell holes for use on multiple backgrounds in the Tutorials area.

The 'Tiff' files included carry an appropriate alpha channel and can be saved out by using the 'Save as' option when 'right-clicking' (PC) or 'option-clicking' (Mac).
